Village Light Initiative is a community-based charity organization operating in Bugobi Sub County, Namutumba District, Uganda. We exist for one simple but urgent reason — orphans and elderly persons with no support deserve to be seen, cared for and given a chance at dignity.
We walk alongside vulnerable children who have lost their parents and elderly people abandoned by circumstance, offering practical, consistent support: school fees and learning materials, regular food relief, clothing, and compassionate counselling for the emotional wounds that poverty and loss leave behind.
Rooted in the rural heart of Namutumba District, our work is hands-on, personal and community-driven — because real change happens one household, one child, one elder at a time.
